Lisa qualified as a solicitor in 2000 after taking her degree course as a mature student.
Prior to returning to tertiary education, she worked in Europe for many years for a non-profit making charitable organisation before returning to England to work for the National Health Service negotiating appropriate placements and services for people with mental and physical difficulties who were leaving long-stay hospitals to live in the community.
Lisa joined Gledhill Gill solicitors in January 2018.
Lisa is an experienced mental health lawyer and has been a member of the Mental Health Panel since 2003
Lisa’s client base is mainly restricted patients detained in high secure hospitals. Lisa undertakes Tribunal work for clients and represents in clients in Broadmoor, Ealing, London and Oxford.
Amanda has many years experience in office administration, including time in a psychology practice and a small national charity. she shares the administration and practice support function with Allan.
A keen supporter of the arts, Amanda also works in venue and event management.
Allan previously ran a London-based editorial recruitment company and has a depth of experience in administration systems, database management and client care. The administration role, which he shares with Amanda, is to support the legal team, act as a communications hub between clients, solicitors and the Tribunal service, and provide back-office IT and archiving services.
Outside the office, Allan is a keen cyclist, runner, sailor, skier and golfer.
